The Africa First Ladies Peace Mission(AFLPM) received a delegation from the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat. The team was led by H.E. Amb. Bankole Adeoye, the commissioner Political Affairs, Peace and Security.

Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian First Lady and President of the Africa First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM), received a delegation from the African Union Commission. The purpose of the visit was to hold discussions with the AFLPM team on some topical issues relating to the consolidation of AFLPM's achievements and improvement on its operations across the continent of Africa, as well as involvement of women generally in peace building in Africa. The AU team was led by H.E Amb. Bankole Adeoye, the Commissioner of Political Affairs, Peace and Security. During the visit, the team made out time to inspect the Headquarters building of AFLPM currently at 90% completion.
