Her Excellency Senator Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu holds a B.Sc in Education from the University of Ife.  Prior to becoming Nigeria’s First Lady,after her role as the First Lady of Lagos State she was actively involved in politics for four years , serving as a senator for Lagos Central from 2011 to 2023. Known for her commitment to youth empowerment, she founded the New Era Foundation in 2000 with the overriding objectives of encouraging the wholesome development of the youth and women for a better and brighter future in Nigeria. Throughout her political career, she has received recognition and awards, including the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON). She is an ordained pastor and holds various leadership positions, such as being the Grand Matron of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO).
